Farewell party

Our remaining time in Finland is down to 27 days today. This summer is really flying by and both me and Giigan have been pretty busy. Before we leave for our journey* to New Zealand and Australia, we have however reserved a weekend for seeing all of you - our friends - one last time together.

Thus we're having a farewell party on Saturday 16th August. We want to have a beautiful Finnish scenery to enjoy, so we've decided to arrange the party as a picnic in Suomenlinna. Bring your own food and booze and meet us at the Kauppatori pier in time for the ferry leaving at 14:00. Stragglers can call either one of us and ask where we've sat down on the islands to enjoy the food, beverages, each other's company and hopefully, the weather. If it's raining or the weather is otherwise bad, we'll have to improvise something else.

We haven't planned anything particular after the picnic, but I'm sure we'll all come up with something fun for the evening.

To get a rough idea of how many we're going to be, please inform us of your participation a day or two in advance.

31st August - leaving LA for the Cook Islands
14th September - leaving the Cook Islands for Auckland, New Zealand

Spring/Summer 2010 - leaving Australia for Asia and eventually Finland
